Passivation
This is the process of transition to a passive state. On the surface, layers of chromium oxides are mainly produced. Using 55% nitric acid, heavy metal phosphates and sulfates are removed. Thorough cleaning of the surface is critical in terms of ensuring uniformity, corrosion resistance and hygienic surface during further storage and use.

Electropolishing
Electropolishing reduces the micro roughness of the surface, which efficiently reduces the danger of dirt or deposits adhering and improves the surface’s cleanability. The process is used to deburr, brighten and passivate surfaces. We can achieve a very high gloss on the surface of an electropolished workpiece with the GALKOR ST DE-10 additive.

Etching
The process removes dullness, discoloration and impurities caused by surface treatment. A clean metallic surface with an attractive satin finish is obtained thanks to the etching additive SIV 20.2020 GAL 820-2020. It is applicable wherever rust, welding burns and similar dirt must be removed efficiently and economically.
